Head Mounted Displays (HMDs) have been gaining popularity in 2015 with several major makers coming out with their versions of such devices. At the same time eye tracking technology has become much better and cheaper and it seems natural to marry the two technologies and make eye tracking a component of every Head Mounted Display. However it seems that most Head Mounded Displays manufacturers have not jumped on that bandwagon yet even though the cost of an additional camera and software is low and potential usability gains are enormous. Imagine simply using your eyes to change your view in Virtual Reality instead of moving your head! Oculus Rift tracks head position and tilt but does not do eye tracking. Does anyone know whether Microsoft's HoloLens has eye tracking capabilities?
